Year 12 students celebrated the end of their MacKillop journey with the Graduation Ceremony and Formal Dinner on Friday 2 December.
This was the first time since 2019 that the College could hold its Formal off campus, with Thoroughbred Park the setting for Year 12’s big evening.
The night began with families and friends watching on as Year 12 arrived in style, walked the red carpet, and posed for photos.
The Graduation Ceremony commenced at 7pm, during which the members of the Class of 2022 were presented with their Graduation Certificates and Portfolios. The names of our Perpetual Award recipients were also announced.
After the formal proceedings, students sat down for a three-course meal before hitting the dance floor to share their final moments together as a year group.
Congratulations, Year 12 – we hope it was a night you’ll remember for years to come!

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
