Spring Zing 2015

St Mary MacKillop College's Year 10 students and their teachers celebrated the extremely successful Spring Zing at the Italo-Australian Club in Forrest last Friday night.

The night was well attended and involved music, fancy dress, dancing, food, drink, lolly bar, and a lot of fun.

Students dressed to the theme 'GLObal', wearing costumes that ranged from the Ghostbusters to the Mario Bros, while the staff all dressed as Cowboys.

The students determined to be 'best dressed' came as a Toy Soldier, the prisoners from Orange is the New Black, Cruella De Vil (and dalmatian), and a skeleton.

Thank you to all students for your good behaviour, enthusiasm, the efforts you made on your costumes, and the good spirit you brought to the occasion. It was truly a night to remember!

Acknowledgement of Country

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”

With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
