Two Campuses in the Tuggeranong Valley

St Mary MacKillop College is a two-campus school, with Years 7-9 based at the Padua Campus in Wanniassa and Years 10-12 based at the St Peter's Campus in Isabella Plains.

The Padua Campus

As people approach the Padua Campus, they are greeted by the iconic dark blue entranceway and the words, “Faith and Courage,” the College motto.

Originally the home of Padua High School, the College's 'Junior Campus' accommodates students for Years 7, 8, and 9. As the oldest year group at Wanniassa, Year 9 students are provided with the opportunity to play a significant role in the leadership of the campus.

Facilities
To support the breadth of curriculum offered at the Padua Campus, an excellent range of facilities exist. These include a new state-of-the-art STEM Centre, a modern Information Resource Centre, the award-winning College Chapel, and newly refurbished science laboratories, music rooms, theatre, kitchens, and textiles room.

The Campus also has a gymnasium, technology workshops, art studios, a weights room, basketball and tennis courts, and an oval.

    The St Peter's Campus

The first thing you’ll notice about the St Peter's Campus is how open it is, with blocks of classrooms linked by courtyards and external walkways. The open feel of the campus suits the older students – more freedom, more trust, and more responsibility.

Formerly the home of St Peter’s College, the College's 'Senior Campus' accommodates students in Years 10, 11 and 12.

    Facilities
Specialist facilities on the St Peter's Campus include brand new science laboratories, a STEM fabrication laboratory, two commercial kitchens, textile and art studios, industrial technology workshops, gymnasium, strength and conditioning rooms, basketball courts, oval, drama and dance rooms, music rooms with a recording studio, lecture theatre, Academic Resource Centre, cafeteria, refurbished Learning Commons, and the Trades Training Centre.

The Trades Training Centre’s industrial kitchens, construction hangar, and construction yard allow students to work towards Vocational Certificates in the fields of Hospitality and Construction while they complete their Senior Secondary Certificate.

      Acknowledgement of Country

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”

With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
