Student Leaders elected for 2019

Year 11 students Christopher Caruana and Gabrielle Petersen have been chosen as the 2019 College Captains following an election at the Isabella Campus.
Year 11 students and their teachers took to the voting booth after 22 candidates delivered a range of impressive and engaging speeches at the special election assembly on Wednesday morning.
The election featured voting for the new Communications and Connections Captain, which will add a student voice on how the College communicates and engages with its community – particularly in the area of social media.
At the end of a closely contested election, Christopher and Gabrielle emerged as College Captains, while Alexis Lanuza, Flynn Gibbs-Patterson, Jacob Church, Connor Maclachlan, and Miguel Sanchez picked up the Portfolio positions for Faith and Community, Performing Arts, Sport, Sustainability, and Communications and Connections respectively.
The College congratulates all candidates for the integrity, talent, and commitment that they brought to the application process - the nominees were of a very high standard.

- Sustainability Captain: Connor Maclachlan
- Communications and Connections Captain: Miguel Sanchez
The College will now hold elections for the House Captain positions, Wanniassa Campus Captains, and Student Representative Council roles for each year group.
